But getting there was nothing short of a series of false starts and detours with no clear academic and practical pathway to the education and certification I wanted. Sure, there were dozens of classes for hobbyists and others for working professionals, but no one school or program distilled and streamlined all the education necessary to become a certified wine professional. I knew there had to be a better way.
