Current Positions Available
Admissions Representative
The Professional Culinary Institute has an immediate opening for an experienced Adult Admissions Representative with a proven track record in sales.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Primary responsibility is to recruit, interview and enroll prospective students
- Admissions Representative will guide students through the enrollment and application process
- Must have excellent communications skills and the ability to be a solid team player
- Familiar with concepts, practices and procedures in the enrollment process
- Must maintain current and accurate records of all prospective students
- Must respond quickly and cordially to all inquiries.
- Knowledge of all state and federal compliance issues related to recruitment and enrollment of students.
- Excellent negotiation skills with a strong work ethic
- Work closely with the Finance and Career Services Departments
- Admissions Representatives will be under the supervision of the Director of Admissions
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or related field desired with 3 to 5 years experience preferably in admissions for a private postsecondary school; must possess strong PC computer skills, with a familiarity with Campus2000 or CampusVue desirable. Must have strong communication and sales skills with the ability to meet specified goals and objectives; be able to inspire individuals to achieve their career goals.

The Professional Culinary Institute located in Campbell, CA. has an opening for a Maintenance Technician. The position is responsible for maintenance on property. Duties include, but not limited to, equipment, machinery, painting, electrical, plumbing, janitorial, recycling, ground maintenance. Responds to all service calls. Previous experience is required.

Hospitality Instructor
The Professional Culinary Institute located in Campbell, California is currently seeking professionals for our Hospitality Management Program. We are specifically interested in Adjunct instructors experienced with Menu Management/Purchasing, Hospitality and Restaurant Accounting, Human Resources Management, Hospitality and Tourism Marketing, Event Planning and Management, Hospitality and Restaurant Law and Casino and Gaming Operations.

- Maintain accurate attendance and grading records as per school policies

High School Presenter
The High School Presenter is supervised by the Director of High School Admissions. Position is full time and eligible for company benefit package for primary employee only. Salary -DOE
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Excellent communication skills with public speaking experience
- Strong organizational skills
- Computer literate in MS Word and MS Excel
- Associates Degree desirable
- Must have valid CA driver’s license and reliable transportation
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- The ability to deliver presentations to high school classes in order to promote the vocational programs offered at the Professional Culinary Institute. This position is the “face” of the school and must be well versed on all PCI programs. You must be comfortable interacting with this age group.
- Must have good time management skills
- A knowledge or interest in cooking and food is desirable however not essential.
- The ability to convey enthusiasm and passion for all of our programs and career opportunities.
- Must be able to build and maintain good relationships with school counselors, teachers, and chef instructors.
- Must possess good phone skills to facilitate the scheduling of presentations and career days
- Attention to detail and strong follow up skills are required

- Looking towards a CMC or CMPC within the next 3-5 years
