The Professional Culinary Institute offers wine tastings
for company retreats, client meetings, trade shows or parties. Events range from seminars to receptions, or sommelier service for sit-down dinners. Our Wine Department Chair, David Glancy, is one of only 76 Americans and 142 people worldwide ever to achieve the designation of Master Sommelier (MS). He and his team of instructors can customize fun or formal programs for 10 to 60 people on-site at PCI. You select a theme and we'll do the rest. Seminar or reception themes can range from a comparison of the wines of two or more regions or two or more grapes to comparing a single grape from all over the globe. The focus can be local, national or international. We are also happy to teach blind wine tasting technique, wine and food pairing or any other wine topic. We offer 3-hour events with a tasting of eight wines for $125 per person on weekdays and $150 per person on weekends. These prices include wine, facilities, glassware, service and lecturer/facilitator. Wines will average approximately $30 per bottle retail; however, we can obtain virtually any vintage of any wine in the world and customize the pricing accordingly.
